Perception of ecosystem services in and around the Pomorie Lagoon
Perceptions of ecosystem services in and around the Pomorie Lagoon” is a research activity conducted by Tour du Valat, Green Balkans NGO and the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation. The Pomorie Lake wetland complex, located along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, offers a multitude of benefits to society and its well-being. As the benefits of ecosystem services have not been previously studied, there is little awareness of the socio-economic value of the area and the potential benefits of restoring it.
